Depending on your mood, you can take the 6 km (approx. 1 hr 45 min.) footpath around the lake, go fishing, take part in a wide range of water sports (paddle, pedal boat, canoe, sailing…) or swim in the natural areas. This “mirror of 1,000 reflections”, as it’s nicknamed, offers total disconnection in a beautiful setting. Together with Lac de Retournemer (also in Xonrupt-Longemer), Gérardmer and Longemer form part of the Vallée des Lacs.
