Following the fire of 1944, which destroyed much of the town’s infrastructure, Corcieux underwent a vast reconstruction project lasting around fifteen years. As far as the region’s built heritage is concerned, you can discover theNotre-Dame de l’Assomption church during your stay at a Corcieux campsite. Completed in 1957, the church’s charm and unique architecture are particularly striking. It has preserved its regional identity with its Vosges pink sandstone.
