A must-see site in Alsace

In the lower part of the castle, a star-shaped fortification opposed the advancing cannons. A large bastion with artillery towers can be seen on the other side of the château. The distinctive feature of the large entrance gate is the castle’s first major line of defense. Finally, when you enter the interior, take the stairs and you’ll immediately reach its drawbridge fortified with loopholes.
As far as the apartments are concerned, you’ll have access to a type of living worthy of the great nobles. These include the party room (the most memorable room in the castle, due to its gigantic size), the hunting trophy room, etc.
